- Churchill Place constitutes the final phase of Canary Wharf, a large scale business district in the revitalized East London Docklands.
Studio u+a developed the urban design and architectural concepts for the new waterfront site, accommodating two million square feet of office space within four buildings of varied massing surrounding a multilevel semicircular glass enclosed public space through which all buildings are linked at the promenade level. The centralized arrangement of the site formally extends Canary Wharf's axial organizing principle.
Vinay Kapoor was also responsible for developing and managing for Olympia & York the initial master plan of Canary Wharf.
